Xiaomi’s foray into the electric car segment is now official with their vehicle registered on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website as a “Pure Electric Car.” The registration lists BAIC Motor Off-Road Vehicle Co., Ltd. as the associated company. Based on this information, we’re looking at the anticipated debut of Xiaomi’s first car, the SU7 base model, hitting the market in early 2024.
